Note: This program requires that an Intel® PRO/100 or PRO/1000 Adapter version 9.2 MUST be installed.

Intel recommends that you use the latest Service Pack available for your OS.


This program is for Intel® PRO/100 and PRO/1000 adapters in Windows Server 2003*, Windows 2000* and Windows XP*. This program adds a user interface allowing easy configuration of QoS filters. However, it is not required for the QoS packet scheduler supplied with Windows.
You should install the latest driver release for your Intel adapter before installing this program.
You must be logged in with administrative rights when installing this program. If you attempt to run the configuration for this program when not logged in as administrator or equivalent, you will get an error message stating that “Initialization failed on local machine”.

Installation

To install Priority Packet, run PrtPkt3.MSI from the \W2K_XP directory of this archive. This program requires that an Intel® PRO/100 or PRO/1000 Adaptor version 9.2 be installed.


For user instructions, use any browser to open the file PRIORPKT.HTM in the \DOCS directory of this archive.

This archive contains the latest Intel® Boot Agent code, along with Boot Agent related tools, utilities and documentation.

PRORIS

This archive contains a program that adds a utility selection to the Windows Remote Installation Services (RIS) menu. The utility selection gives access to the Boot Agent configuration program and diagnostic programs during the RIS process. This add-on utility is not required to perform a RIS installation.

PROADMIN


This archive contains tools and utilities for network administrators. Includes push install and unattended install enhancements and instructions.

This archive contains the latest Intel® PRO adapter Windows agents for DMI-2 instrumentation.

PRTPKT2

This archive contains Intel® Priority Packet II software. This package adds a user interface allowing easy configuration for IEEE 802.1p prioritization and IP ToS (Type of Service) layer 3 tagging capability to Intel® PRO adapters in Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98 SE and Windows Me. See the Priority Packet web site for details.
